Redesign Your Website Without Losing Your Google Rankings
A website redesign rebuilds an existing site with new design, technology and content while keeping the traffic, backlinks and Google rankings it has earned. It suits companies whose site has become slow, dated, hard to edit, or poor on mobile. It usually takes 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the size of the site and how much content moves across. Cost depends on the number of pages, content rewriting, data migration from the old system, and the integrations you need. We start by reviewing your current site, and you get a written quote within 24 hours.

When does your site need a redesign rather than a tweak?
Not every old website needs rebuilding. Sometimes improving the homepage, compressing images and fixing the contact form is enough. But some signs tell you that patching no longer pays, and that every small change costs more than it is worth.
If three or more of these signs apply to your site, a redesign is usually cheaper in the medium term than continuing to fix it. If they do not, we tell you so and suggest specific improvements instead of a full project.
Before you decide, get your current site's numbers: mobile speed, the number of indexed pages, and the pages that bring in the most traffic and enquiries. We review them with you at the start, and they become the baseline against which we measure the new site's success.
- The site is slow on mobile even after compressing images
- You need a developer to change a sentence or add a news item
- The Arabic version is broken in text direction or fonts
- The theme or system no longer receives security updates
- The look no longer reflects the size of the company today, and clients notice
- The site brings in visitors but not enquiries or calls from clients
The biggest risk: losing your Google rankings
What site owners regret most after a redesign is the disappearance of their Google traffic. The cause is usually technical: URLs that changed without redirects, deleted pages that used to bring in visitors, lost titles and descriptions, or a new site launched while still blocked from search engines.
So we start with a full inventory: every page on the old site, its traffic, the backlinks pointing to it, and the keywords it ranks for. Then we build a 301 redirect map for every URL, carry over titles and structured data, and check Search Console daily after launch to fix any error before it affects your rankings.
We also watch the small details with big impact: images that appear in image search, PDF files that clients or other sites link to, English-version URLs if you have them, and your Google Business Profile, which must point to the right pages after the change.
What is different about a redesign project?
The key difference is that you have a working site and clients visiting it, and they must not be affected. So we build the new site on a separate staging copy, and your current site keeps running unchanged for the whole project.
At launch we pick a time when traffic is at its lowest, and keep a full copy of the old site until we are sure everything works, so we can roll back within minutes if something unexpected appears.
- An inventory of pages, URLs and keywords before design
- Testing every 301 redirect before launch, not after
- Checking forms, email and integrations on the new version
- Submitting the new sitemap to Search Console on launch day and tracking indexing
A redesign is a chance to fix your content
Many old websites were written about the company, not for the client: long paragraphs on vision and mission, and services mentioned in a single line. A redesign is the chance to write a page for each service that answers the buyer's real questions, in the words they type into Google.
We review and sort your existing content: what we keep as is because it brings in traffic, what we update, and what we remove or merge. Then we add what is missing: FAQs, pages for the sectors or cities you serve, and an English version if you have non-Arabic-speaking clients.
We also reorganise pages around what the visitor wants, not around your internal org chart. Visitors are not looking for "departments"; they want a service that solves their problem, proof that you have delivered it before, and an easy way to get in touch.
How do you know the redesign worked?
"The site looks nicer now" is not enough to judge a project you paid for. Before we start we record your current site's numbers as a baseline, then compare them one month and three months after launch, so you see the difference in figures, not words.
After launch you get a short report showing what changed, what needs follow-up, and the suggested next step if there is one, whether that is more content, landing pages for ads, or an improvement to the enquiry form.
- Mobile load speed and Core Web Vitals
- Enquiries from forms, WhatsApp clicks and calls
- Organic search traffic and the pages that bring it in
- Bounce rate and time spent on service pages
- Indexed pages and Search Console errors
Is your site on WordPress or another platform?
If your site runs on WordPress, the answer may be updating the theme and cleaning up plugins, or moving to a faster stack while keeping WordPress only for content management. If it is on a site builder or closed platform, moving to a site whose code you own gives you more freedom and frees you from rising subscriptions, but we first show you the cost of the alternative hosting and maintenance so you can compare fairly.
Either way, we move the domain, email and accounts carefully so company email never stops and no record is lost, and everything stays registered to your company.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a website redesign cost?
A redesign costs close to building a new site of the same standard, which for company websites runs in the market from about SAR 5,000 to 25,000, plus content and data migration and redirect setup. A large site with hundreds of pages or connections to other systems costs more. We review your site and send a written quote within 24 hours.
Will I lose my Google rankings after a redesign?
Not if the migration is done properly. We keep strong URLs or 301-redirect them, carry over titles, descriptions and structured data, and monitor Search Console after launch. There may be minor fluctuation in the first weeks, and rankings usually improve afterwards thanks to better speed and content. We send you a report with the numbers after the first month.
Will my site go down during the work?
No. We build the new site on a separate staging copy, and your current site keeps running as it is until launch day. The switch happens at a low-traffic time, with a full copy of the old site to fall back on if needed. On launch day we test forms, email and links immediately, and stay on hand for any feedback from you or your clients.
How long does a website redesign take?
4 to 8 weeks for most company websites. The timeline depends on the number of pages, whether we rewrite the content, and how much data moves across, such as news and products. We put the dated schedule in the contract, and you see progress on the staging link every week. The most common cause of delay is content approval, so we start on it early.
Do I keep the same domain and email?
Yes. The domain stays the same, and company email is unaffected when DNS settings are moved carefully, which is a core part of our launch plan. If the domain is registered to your previous developer, we help you transfer it to your company. We prepare and test the email settings before switching the site.
My previous developer will not reply or hand over the code. What can I do?
If you have access to the domain or hosting, we can usually recover the content and build the new site without them. If the domain is in their name, we guide you through reclaiming it via the registrar with documents proving your business's ownership. From then on, everything is in your name: code, domain, hosting and accounts.
Do you keep the current content or write it from scratch?
Both options are available. We keep pages that bring in traffic as they are or improve them carefully, rewrite weak pages, and add the pages your site is missing. The quote states how many pages of copywriting are included, what we move across unchanged, and what we suggest removing or merging and why, so you approve the content plan before design starts.
How do payments and follow-up work?
Payments are staged and tied to deliverables you can see: one on signing, one after design approval, and the balance at a successful launch. We work on Saudi time, follow up through online meetings and a project WhatsApp group, and the client portal shows weekly progress. The delivery date is written into the contract: on-time delivery, guaranteed.
Can the site become bilingual during the redesign?
Yes, and it is the best time to do it. We build the English version with its own URLs and correct hreflang tags so Google understands the relationship between the two versions, and we translate the content or write it directly for an English-speaking audience instead of translating word for word. Adding a language during a redesign costs far less than adding it to a finished site later.
Do you offer maintenance after the redesign?
Yes. We provide fast technical support after launch to fix any issue quickly, and you can also subscribe to a monthly maintenance plan covering security updates, backups, performance and indexing monitoring, or request support as needed at a rate agreed in advance. Either way the code and accounts stay in your name, so you only stay with us because you want to.
